Accelerometer

In this project, students learn the principles of operation and applications of an accelerometer, as well as the principles of the I2C communication protocol. Students use myRIO and LabVIEW to calibrate and measure three axes of acceleration using an accelerometer. In these activities, students follow steps to demonstrate correct operation of the accelerometer, watch videos involving theory, and participate in a short activity after each video.
