Students will use the concepts and skills developed in previous labs, like counters and encoders, to design and build digital dice in a project-based lab. Students will design the entirety of the circuit using Multisim, and then create a physical circuit of digital dice.
Use a sequence of steps grounded in prior knowledge of digital circuits to create digital dice that generate random numbers when activated.
Strengthen research and problem-solving skills as they conceptualize and build the digital dice circuit one step at a time.
